Community: Parents and Friends Association

Welcome to the Parents and Friends Association of Sacred Heart Primary School

The P&F Association is an active member of the Parents and Friends Federation of Western Australia and supports its vision and purpose.

At the school level, the Association's main responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

Striving to develop a school community, consisting of parents, teachers and students, which reflects a truly Christian ethos;

Working closely with the School's Principal and teachers to achieve common goals for the good of the children;

Ensuring that a high level of social and educational interaction exists between home and school, parents and teachers;

Encouraging all parents to enjoy the exciting experience of their children’s formal school years by active participation and personal involvement in the school programs;

Where necessary, conduct fund-raising to provide additional resources for the benefit of the children or to assist teachers in their professional work.

Whilst the Association is primarily represented by its duly elected Committee Members, any parent or guardian who has a child at the school and supports the objectives of the Association will be admitted as an Association Member and are welcome to actively participate in any of the General Meetings.

General Meetings of the Association are held at 7.00pm on the fourth Monday of each month (except during holidays) in the School Library.

Nominations for Committee Members are requested towards the end of the school year, as elections are held at the Annual General Meeting in November.
